Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and accredited CBT therapist with a PWP qualification, to join our service as a deputy manager.
The post holder will retain a small caseload and will deliver a high level of psychological interventions with designated clients who have a range of complex anxiety and depression related problems.
Main duties of the job
- Support Team Manager in project work and lead on projects as appropriate.
- Represent the service area at local meetings in the absence of the Team Manager.
- Provide strong visible leadership within area of responsibility.
- Ensure that all staff in the service area are clear about what is expected and are working together in successful teams to achieve in the Trust’s vision.
Promote a culture where staff feel empowered and accountable for service improvement at local level.
- In the absence of the Team Manager review the service area workforce to ensure it has the right numbers of the right level of knowledge skill and expertise skill to deliver services in the most effective and efficient way
- Ensure that staff within service area are providing optimum quality of care in line with national healthcare standards including local healthcare targets and NICE guidance etc.
- Support the Team Manager in ensuring the Talking Therapies Team is adopting best practice to support the Trusts objective.
- Promote a culture where governance and risk management are seen to be everyone’s responsibility.
- Ensure that safety is at the centre of service area planning, analysis, and delivery.
- Support the Team Manager in implementing effective systems to record and monitor governance and risk information and contribute to reports to the relevant forums.
