The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Services Administrator to join our HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting recruitment, contractual changes, employee records management and workforce administration across the Trust

Main duties of the job

As a HR Services Administrator, you will provide a comprehensive and efficient administration service, supporting managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for coordinating recruitment activity, processing contractual changes, maintaining accurate workforce data and ensuring compliance with NHS employment checks and safer recruitment standards.

Working closely with managers and colleagues across the Trust, you will:

  • Coordinate recruitment campaigns from advert to appointment.
  • Prepare interview documentation and candidate correspondence.
  • Undertake pre-employment checks in line with NHS Employment Check Standards
  • Issue offers of employment and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records on ESR and other HR systems.
  • Support payroll-related employee changes and workforce administration.
  • Respond to queries from managers, employees and external applicants.
  • Contribute to service improvements and the delivery of a professional, customer-focused HR service.

Essential

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications & experience

Essential

  • Relevant Diploma/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent training and experience as identified
  • Experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to demonstrate experience of working in an office based customer focused environment.
  • Experience of co-ordination of diaries and events working to a strict deadline

Desirable

  • Good working knowledge of Immigration and Border Agency checking criteria
  • Knowledge of NHS terms and conditions
  • Good working knowledge of recruitment checks process to maintain NHS Safer Recruitment Standards including DBS process
  • Experience in the use of ESR/NHS Job sites.
  • Able to demonstrate experience of recruitment.
