Job overview
We are Trafford Local Care Organisation - an exciting, public-sector organisation bringing together NHS community health services and adult social care services in Trafford. We’re driven by the aim of improving the health of local people in Trafford by working across organisational boundaries.
Our community healthcare teams in adults and children's services are employed by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and deployed to us, linking closely with our colleagues in Trafford Local Care Organisation. Our teams work as one and together we will make a massive difference to the health of people in Trafford.
The continued development of integrated working has created an opportunity to support two new areas of work. In this role, you will work closely with Strategic Neighbourhood Leads to support the implementation and delivery of Neighbourhood Leadership Teams (NLTs). You will also work with Care Navigators to co-ordinate weekly neighbourhood multidisciplinary team meetings
The team are based across the West, South, Central and North Trafford localities.
The administration position will be based at Trafford Town Hall. Talbot Rd, Stretford, Manchester M32 0TH. Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm
Main duties of the job
To support the Strategic Neighbourhood Leads and Care Navigators with general administration duties, photocopying, scanning, filing, preparing documents and ensuring information is handled accurately and in line with service requirements.
Arrange multidisciplinary team (MDT) and monthly leadership meetings, preparing and compiling patient lists, agendas and supporting documents. Accurately record discussions, type and circulate minutes, and ensure agreed actions are documented and shared with relevant colleagues.
Book meeting rooms across the four neighbourhoods, ensuring that each venue is suitable for the purpose of the meeting and that any associated booking arrangements or payments are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Attend in person monthly leadership meetings as required, supporting the smooth running of each meeting by preparing refreshments where appropriate, recording attendance, assisting with any administrative tasks and ensuring relevant information is captured and shared with colleague. Following up on actions.
Attend weekly MDT meetings virtually via Microsoft Teams, record key discussions, transcribe and prepare minutes, and circulate them to relevant colleagues. This includes attending and supporting four MDT meetings each week.
Order, monitor and maintain levels of equipment, medical supplies and stationery, ensuring stock is available to support the smooth running of the service and escalating any shortages or issues as required.

The Costs for a DBS
At Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), roles that require a DBS check are subject to a cost recovery policy. This means that the cost of submitting and processing a DBS application if you are successful and join us, will be deducted from your salary within the first three months of employment. If, however, you withdraw from a conditional offer after the DBS process has begun, you will still be liable for the cost incurred.
