We’re searching for a dynamic leader to helm our dedicated neonatal team across intensive, high dependency, special, and transitional care. This is your chance to be at the forefront of neonatal excellence!
As the Ward Manager you will be responsible for the leadership, management, and safe operational running of a clinical ward. Ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centred care overseeing clinical standards, managing staff, and maintaining effective systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visible leadership to nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure delivery of safe, effective, evidence‑based patient care.
- Manage staffing, including rotas, supervision, appraisals, and supporting staff development.
- Oversee clinical governance, incident reporting, audits, and quality improvement.
- Maintain a safe ward environment, ensuring compliance with infection prevention and health & safety standards.
- Manage ward budgets, resource allocation, and equipment.
- Lead on patient experience, resolving concerns and supporting improvements.
- Act as the primary liaison between the ward, senior management, and other clinical services.
