An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Older Persons Therapy Team at the Bristol Royal Infirmary

Therapy Technicians work alongside our friendly and supportive Occupational Therapists & Physiotherapists to support the delivery of effective assessment, treatment and rehabilitation plans to enable patients to recover from illness and injury, to be safely discharged from hospital.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of an integrated Therapy team this role involves working with patients with a range of problems and conditions in an acute hospital setting. This includes working with patients with complex frailty, dementia/delirium, and those who have fallen. There will also be some administrative tasks as part of the role.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience of working as part of a team, and great time management skills. Understanding the roles of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy in an acute setting should be demonstrated in your application form and experience of working in a healthcare setting is essential.
