Job summary
Are you ready to use your customer service and administrative skills in a way that makes a positive impact on peoples lives? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to become a member of our End User Computing team within the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the EUC Operations Team Leaders, your role will be to understand the IT hardware needs of departments and CSUs across the Trust as well as the day-to-day needs of the EUC Operations Team. This will involve advising on the availability of equipment, liaising with suppliers, ordering equipment and software (in response to Service Desk tickets), keeping up to date with the latest technology, maintaining the EUC Hardware Catalogue, stock control and record-keeping, liaising with waste contractors to ensure sustainability and environmental objectives are being met, and assisting with the EUC Hardware Refresh Programme. In return, we can offer you a varied, interesting, and challenging role working as part of a fantastic team, striving to deliver a fantastic service which, ultimately, contributes to improved patient care. This post provides scope for development, insofar gaining technical knowledge to allow potential progression within EUC and beyond.
