Reporting to the Digital Systems Operations Manager your role will sit within the Digital Systems Support Team. The Digital System Administrator role is a key position within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, responsible for ensuring critical clinical and operational IT systems are secure, reliable, and effective. The post holder will provide second-line technical and application support, manage system performance and user access, work closely with suppliers and clinical teams, support testing and system upgrades, deliver training and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital healthcare systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage incidents, data quality and system documentation while supporting patient care through robust digital services.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of the post Digital Systems Administrator is to ensure that the Trusts IT systems are secure, reliable and efficient. The role will be responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of the IT systems under the responsibility of the Digital System Support team. The post holder will be responsible for Operational Support. Managing incidents and service requests related to their allocated system using the Trust ITSM system. This includes: Providing second line application and technical support, investigating, diagnosing and resolving complex issues. Raising and coordinating issues with suppliers and internal digital teams and providing resolution by leading or supporting incident or resolver groups.   • Proven experience administering IT/clinical systems, including support, maintenance, troubleshooting and user management
