We are looking for someone who has extensive administrative experience, whether in the NHS or equivalent public sector and experience working with the public is key. You must also demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be able to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines. The ability to work successfully as part of a team is essential for this role. This is a busy role and attention to detail is key, you will need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to maintain accuracy while dealing with many interruptions.
This is a 37.50 hour position, working between 08:00-17:00 Monday-Friday at the Rose Centre based at St Georges Hospital.
Responsible for the registering, booking, cancelling and administration of Breast Screening, Imaging and Symptomatic appointments via electronic patient systems used within service e.g. NBSS; Soliton and iClip Systems
Respond proactively to visitors or callers enquiries/request for information regarding the Screening and Imaging service in a calm and helpful manner, liaising with all disciplines within unit to result in query resolution.
Provide Reception cover 08:00-17:00 on a rotational basis; to monitor reception and entrance areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues and H&S issues.
To provide administrative support as and when required to ensure an efficient service is provided by the Breast Screening, Imaging and Symptomatic Service.
This role is available for a 12 month fixed term period of time - this is an internal/external secondment opportunity.

Booking all screening appointments according to the individual screening protocol for all women including moderate risk and women on PSFU pathway.
Dealing with all changes of appointments via the telephone, email or letter for screening and imaging clients.
Registration of all attenders on the databases and ensuring that in all cases an appropriate screening type and outcome is recorded.
Ensuring that all women receive the correct result within Quality Assurance guidelines.
To assist with the booking and monitoring of the assessment clinic; to prepare assessment clinic paperwork and scan any documents relating to this onto PACS.
To assist in the carrying out of adhoc reports or client audits around referrals/results.
Ensuring client details are correct on all patient record systems e.g. National Breast Screening Service at all stages of the booking process.
To ensure that all audit routines related to the above tasks are performed in a consistent and safe manner in accordance with the written work instructions and Quality Assurance guidelines.
