We are looking for a highly skilled, committed and compassionate Service Manager
The post holder, working closely with the Operations Manager, will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of patient care within their Service. The post-holder will be expected to identify and implement initiatives to improve services, with delegated responsibility from the Operations Manager, and lead designated projects to ensure key performance targets (financial, operational and clinical) are met.
Main duties of the job
To lead and manage the patient pathways ensuring best use of available resources to provide efficient and effective delivery of all services in line with best practice, quality standards and national performance targets.
To ensure all performance standards are met including both national and local targets including access targets, creating plans to recover where performance below plan.
To investigate and respond to complaints and clinical/ non clinical adverse incidents in line with Trust policies and timescales.
To monitor the delivery of activity, raising concerns in a timely manner and identifying appropriate corrective actions.
To develop and implement action plans for improvement where any aspect of performance falls below expected standards.
To ensure that regular capacity and demand reviews of service provision and organisation are conducted so that best value for money is achieved and access targets can be continually met.

Provide timely, efficient and effective operational service management support for the operational service assisting the Clinical Director, Lead Clinicians and Operational Leadership to ensure that these services are responsive, innovative and provided to the highest possible clinical and performance standards.
Responsible for on ensuring that all performance/quality targets are met.
Problem solve as appropriate, and develop and implement lasting solutions in conjunction with clinical colleagues. To be a key member of the management team, taking full responsibility for actions and for keeping other team members fully informed at all times.
