We are seeking a Service Manager to join the Cancer Performance and Improvement Team.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage Cancer Pathway Managers, MDT Coordinators, and MDT Support/Trackers across hospital sites.
  • Monitor Patient Tracking Lists (PTLs) and ensure Root Cause
  • Analyses (RCAs) are completed for breaching patients.
  • Support the Associate General Manager in managing cancer standards.
  • Deliver cancer standards across the Trust in collaboration with the Cancer Performance Team and service providers.
  • Work with clinical teams to manage and implement improvements to cancer pathways across all tumour sites.

  • Project management experience.
  • Understanding NHS complexity and anticipated changes over 3-5 years.

Qualifications

  • Graduate, healthcare professional qualification, or equivalent knowledge/experience.

  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
