Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Hampshire County Council are excited to welcome a highly skilled Senior Nurse to join our expanding Partners in Practice (PiP) Team.

This is an opportunity to be part of a forward thinking, multidisciplinary service embedded within Children's Services hubs across Hampshire. The PiP team provides specialist consultation, training, and targeted interventions for children and young people supported by Children's Services.

As a Senior Nurse, you will bring clinical leadership, safeguarding expertise, and a strong understanding of mental health and risk management. You will contribute to complex case formulation, deliver specialist interventions, and support social care colleagues through consultation and reflective practice.

You will be central to shaping a psychologically informed, trauma aware culture across the service -- and will have genuine scope to influence practice at a system level.

Our CAMHS teams have a strong and supportive culture, with excellent structures regarding supervision and support. This isa great opportunity to join our service as part of HIOW NHS Foundation Trust Children & Families Service line to support the delivery of high-quality children's mental health services. We are looking for exceptional individuals who share our passion to deliver the best quality care and experiences for children and their families.

Main duties of the job

*The Partners in Practice (PiP) team is undergoing an exciting expansion to a well-established team. This will require an experienced senior nurse who can bring a robust, specialist mental health perspective.

*This is a clinical role with leadership responsibilities, including deputising for the Team Manager in their absence.

*The post holder will support the Team Manager and PiP leadership team to work with senior leadership colleagues in community CAMHS and Hampshire County Council (HCC) to drive forward and launch the expanded service within HCC community hubs.

*The post holder would offer a specialist mental health perspective to the multidisciplinary team/hubs through direct therapeutic work, consultation, joint work, and participation in team meetings. The post holder will work closely with the Children's social care teams to provide the social worker foundation team with additional, co--located services.

*The post holder will be expected to adapt to the changing requirements emerging over time and work in partnership with their manager and the senior leadership team, both within PiP and the wider CAMHS division, to support changes to both the service delivery model and staffing structures.

*The role will require leadership in a multi-agency, multi-provider environment in community settings and requires a strong background in mental health nursing with experience working with children.
