Job overview

Job overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior HR Advisor to join our Reward, Pay, Policy & Partnership team within the People Directorate at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a key specialist role providing expert HR advice and leading on the development and implementation of pay, reward and people policy across the Trust. Working within a high-performing centre of expertise, you will play an important role in ensuring our pay frameworks, reward offer and employment policies are fair, transparent and aligned with organisational priorities.

Development opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who is looking to develop their career and take the next step. The role offers the chance to broaden your experience across a wide range of HR disciplines, including reward, pay, policy and partnership working in a complex, unionised environment.

You will gain valuable exposure to policy development, working closely with trade unions and contributing to organisation-wide HR initiatives. This breadth of experience will place you in a strong position to progress into HR Business Partner roles and more senior HR positions in the future.

We are open to candidates both from within and outside of the NHS. We recognise that strong candidates may bring a mix of skills rather than meeting every aspect of the job description. For example, you may have some exposure to reward and a strong interest in developing further, or you may bring strong policy experience and be keen to broaden your wider HR expertise.

For the right candidate, we are committed to offering development and support to help you build your capability and succeed in the role.
