Senior Charge Nurse

Uist Community Nursing Team

Band 7 £52,845 - £61,466 per annum

Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 per annum

36 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly motivated and dynamic person to work within NHS Western Isles as a Community Senior Charge Nurse to lead the Uist Community Nursing Team.

The successful applicant will provide overall clinical, professional leadership and operational management to a team comprised of District Nurses, Staff nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

The post holder will be a clinically visible leader who works closely with the wider nursing and multidisciplinary team to ensure that the delivery of effective and appropriate care is provided to the population within their geographical area including care of patients at home, care homes and CTAC centres.
