The Community Respiratory Service delivers pulmonary rehabilitation programmes, Home Oxygen Assessment Service.
We also provide an Advice and Guidance Service for healthcare professionals across BNSSG from across the care pathway.
Our service supports people with long term respiratory conditions living in the community to help them manage their condition and improve their quality of life
The Community Respiratory Service sits within Specialist Services and provides support to adults across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Our service hours are 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday.
Our team is based at new Friends Hall, Stapleton, Bristol, BS16.
Main duties of the job
The team are currently looking for a Senior Administrator who will look to improve access and flow across all of the pathways within the respiratory service.
The key responsibilities of this role will be:
- Working collaboratively with other health services to improve patient access and increase awareness of the service.
- Carrying out data analysis to improve access and reduce health inequalities across BNSSG.
- Supporting capacity and demand modelling to maximise patient uptake and improve efficiency.
- To line manage administrators who work within the Community Respiratory Service.
- To work with Team Leads on quality improvement and their related projects and reports.

- Experiences of a range of administrative processes (typing, minute taking, data management/analysis).
- Collating and producing data/information in a reader friendly way.
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Able to supervise others and deputise for managers, within own sphere of competence.
- Able to prioritise time and tasks effectively
- Positive approach to change and supporting others through change.
