Job overview
A rare opportunity has become available to join our safeguarding children Child Death review Administration team. The post holder is a member of the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust Safeguarding Children Team and is required to provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative support service to the Child Death Review team and the Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP) and to offer support to all partners involved in all child deaths (0 – 18 years) in Hertfordshire.
In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum and a maximum payment per annum, pro rata where applicable.

Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Child Death Review (CDR) Team, including the Joint Agency Response (JAR) process and Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP), ensuring the efficient coordination and administration of child death review activities across Hertfordshire.
The post holder will support the management of the electronic Child Death Overview Panel (eCDOP) system, coordinate meetings, monitor case progress, gather and maintain accurate information, and provide administrative support to partner agencies involved in the child death review process. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and compassion, contributing to a high-quality child death review service.
