An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time receptionist to join our team at Cannock Chase Hospital in outpatients.

The role involves patient facing, and requires a happy helpful disposition, as well as an organised nature and excellent communication skills.

The role is varied and busy, the department has 28 rooms and we cater for all specialties.

Main duties of the job

booking patients in and out of the department.

Updating patient records.

Printing clinic lists , preparing notes, reading clinics.

working as a team to ensure an efficient friendly journey for patients through the department.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
