Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare or working on the Staff Bank within these organisations. Nursing and AHP vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses/AHPs.

This role will support the Kent and Medway Care Record (KMCR) team on the delivery of programme, project, and operational services to KMCR partner organisations. The post-holder will support the implementation of the KMCR programme, working as a member of the wider programme team and will engage with KMCR partner organisations and stakeholders to deliver the requirements of the programme plan, actively supporting the deployment of this plan from both a technical and stakeholder facing perspective.

Main duties of the job

  • Facilitating the delivery of project outcomes by communicating in a professional and compassionate manner, maintaining relationships and gaining the cooperation of others through providing routine and complex information which may require tact, negotiation or persuasive skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensuring the project operates effectively by undertaking comprehensive administrative tasks, such as project management through updating project databases and organising project programmes, preparing documentation and presentations for project team, handling team correspondence, scheduling meetings, diary management for the project team, task related problem solving, maintaining stock of equipment and supplies and completion of standard forms, surveys and audits.
  • Providing assurance of compliance with Information Governance policy and Standard Operating Procedures through compiling organisational and project reports in an accurate and efficient manner. Responsibilities will include taking formal minutes, managing agendas, recording clear actions and following these up to check completion, entering project data, retrieving necessary information .
