As a tertiary paediatric centre, Addenbrooke’s provides exposure to a wide range of specialist and sub-specialist services across both medical and surgical paediatrics, including trauma and regional neurosurgical care. Main duties of the role
Promotes good clinical practice within children’s services focusing on the education and development needs of the staff within children’s services.

Qualifications
Essential
- RN (Child) educated to Degree level or equivalent.
- Teaching and assessing qualification or PgCert.
- Post registration qualification in speciality.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Advanced communication skills/counselling qualification or willingness to undertake.
Desirable
- Advanced clinical assessment
- Post registration study relevant to post / enrolled in Masters programme

Essential
- The ability to understand and behave at all times, towards patients, visitors and colleagues according to the Trust values of safe, kind, excellent.
- To act in a professional manner at all times in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct.
- Capable of developing liaisons with other practice areas/academic institutions.
