We have a great opportunity for an aspiring Health Visitor to move into team leader role. You will be joining the existing Team Lead for Stevenage to lead and support a skill mixed team to effectively and safely deliver the Healthy Child Programme. You will be proactive and innovative, like a challenge and enjoy working as part of a team. You will be supported by senior leadership and the wider Trust to grow and thrive in your Team Leader role. You will be joining a service that prides itself on delivering a quality, needs led service, which is able to support improvement and innovative projects

Main duties of the job

You will contribute to the strategic direction, supporting the continued integration of pathways, and take a lead role in facilitating effective positive partnerships with key stake holders.

You will lead on productivity, efficiency and clinical outcomes across the Public Health Nursing 0-5 team and will implement improvement plans where appropriate.

HCT will prioritise recruitment of workers living in England under the new immigration rules for care workers effective from 9 April 2025. Employers must first prove that they have attempted to recruit a worker from within England who needs new sponsorship. This ensures that those who came to the UK to pursue a career in adult social care can do so.
