The NHS Fife Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate provide an ambitious programme of integrated care to a population of approximately 380,000 people, by a team of around 300 Pharmacy staff, including Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers, Nurses, and Administrators. The Pharmacy team work across Acute and Community hospital sites, General Practices, Mental Health services, and a range of specialist teams. Partnership working is at the core of our values, and we work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, including our Community Pharmacy colleagues, to deliver the highest quality care for everyone in Fife.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for candidates with excellent business support skills to join the Pharmacy & Medicines Directorate team.

- Working closely with the following teams:- Medicines Supply & Quality- Clinical Services- Education and Training- Community Pharmacy- Governance & Prescribing

This role will work with a variety of colleagues across the Directorate whilst being part of the Business Support Team, and the post will develop and maintain the high standard of support necessary to run a successful service.

This post would suit someone with strong business support experience who can work effectively with a wide range of staff groups. You should be educated to HNC level, or have equivalent experience, and have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Strong communication and teamworking skills are essential, along with the flexibility to meet the demands of modern healthcare and a willingness to learn and develop as new technology is introduced.

Applicants will have the ability to travel to different base locations across Fife to support the service.
