An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to develop and coordinate Paediatric Trauma and Rehabilitation as a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist/Allied Health Professional. The post offers many opportunities to develop and shape the service, in addition to contributing to the senior nursing team across Children’s Services.
Main duties of the job
As a clinical nurse/AHP in the service you will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills as well as leading and influencing change. You will be motivated to make a positive difference to the child and family experience, maximising effective patient pathways and discharge planning.
Reporting to the lead nurse, you will ensure partnership working across teams in promoting service development for future expansion of Children’s Services.

All roles in the Trust include a mandatory 12-week training period. Therefore successful candidates are expected to have the Right to Work for a period of at least 6 months from the proposed start date. This post is subject to a 12-week probationary period, during which performance, conduct and attendance will be reviewed in line with Trust standards. The probationary period provides a structured and supportive approach to help new employees successfully transition into their role
