We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy yet supportive HR Medical Staffing team as a Medical Recruitment Administrator.

You will provide a professional, confidential and proactive administrative service to the Team as the first point of contact to staff and external stakeholders contacting the department.

Supporting the team with comprehensive administrative tasks and the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary.

Main duties of the job

  • Sort and prioritise daily work to meet the needs of advert preparation, Interviews, Conditional Offers, Contracts and requests received via the medical recruitment and advert email
  • Process ID Checks, DBS outcomes, advising managers of any further information required and then the outcome of the check
  • Support managers wishing to advertise posts both on the Trust website and via published media by recommending the most appropriate, cost effective means
  • Support and advise on overseas recruitment campaigns, which will entail processing Certificates of Sponsorship and Leave to Remain applications, providing support to managers and employees; liaising with the Home Office when required, liaising with approved accommodation providers and facilitating on-boarding local orientation and welfare
  • Process all adverts, liaising with Trust managers and external agencies as necessary, ensuring accuracy through proof reading all final adverts
  • Collate and report advert response analysis for the purpose of informing the advertising strategy; thereby providing evidence based advice to managers
  • Manage individual recruitment plans on TRAC (electronic recruitment system), from start to finish, supporting and advising managers as required

Knowledge

Essential

  • Understanding and recognising the importance of confidentiality and data protection
  • Understanding of policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative rules
  • Understanding of and commitment to the promotion of equal opportunities and diversity management

Desirable

  • NHS IT systems (e.g. ESR, Integra)

Experience

Essential

  • Evidence of working in high volume administration
  • Experience of working within a pressurised and busy environment
  • Microsoft Office and IT experience
  • Understanding of best practice within recruitment
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential information

Desirable

  • Experience of dealing with confidential information
  • Minute taking

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to a minimum GCE or equivalent NVQ
  • Level 2 in a relevant subject or equivalent qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience

Desirable

  • Specialist qualification (or working towards)
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
