At Gateshead Health an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Rostering and Attendance System Manager Band 7.
The service is looking for an enthusiatic candidate with knowledge and experience of e-Rostering.
The main purpose of the job is:
- Responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of the Electronic Rostering & Attendance (ERA) system to the required quality and standard. The System Manager will be responsible for management of the ERA system with a significant focus on change management and service modernisation.
- Oversee the management of Electronic Rostering & Attendance System Administrators and Flexible Resourcing Team, ensuring effective service delivery and operational performance.
- The post requires close working with suppliers, clinicians, internal and external stakeholders to ensure anticipated benefits are fully realised including the provision of staff information reporting.
- To ensure mandatory external reporting has been reviewed, updated and submitted within expected timeframes on a monthly basis.
- Responsibility for ensuring all data quality/reporting and tasks completed for payfile submission.
- Work alongside relevant stakeholders to develop reports, tools and detection processes to reduce fraud and improve system audit
Direct and effective management of the ERA system as required within time, cost and quality parameters.

- Experience of managing stakeholders and debate, up to Director level
- Lead in support of the ProcurementDepartment in contract negotiations.
- Development and implementation of communication plans to promote system and raise awareness.
- Good and proven management and communication skills to develop effective relationships with internal users, staff and external partners.
- Liaise with programme management or related teams to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated.
