Working within the Property Services team, you will monitor and audit a wide range of in-house and contracted services, including cleaning, catering, waste management, portering, accommodation, maintenance, and other facilities functions, helping to ensure services meet agreed standards, legislation, KPIs, and service specifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in audit, compliance, facilities, estates, or operational service monitoring, with strong organisational and analytical skills. You will have a confident understanding of healthcare standards for facilities management services.
You will be confident managing multiple priorities, producing clear reports, and working independently across a range of locations as part of a Trust-wide service focused on delivering an excellent environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors, clinical teams, and service users. You will undertake inspections and audits, analyse performance data, produce reports, support service improvement initiatives, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive quality and compliance across Trust sites.

EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Woking in Facilities management, i.e. Cleaning, Catering, Portering, Estates, etc.
- Managing contractors
- Working with outsourced FM service delivery partners as well as inhouse delivery model
- Producing/ drafting reports
- Providing assurance to stakeholders through auditing
Desirable
- Working in customer service environment
- Working in Healthcare
- Working with confidential/ sensitive/ identifiable information
- Dealing with complaints
- Leading and minuting meetings with external partners.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Essential
- Ability to travel between sites
- Flexibility around working hours i.e. shift pattern to cover the monitoring of service delivery during unsociable hours
SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE
Essential
- Excellent organisation skills/ ability to prioritise and manage workload
- Excellent communication skills written, verbal, presentation
- National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021 and National Standards for Healthcare Food and Drink knowledge.
- Working on own initiative with minimal supervision.

- Intermediate IT skills including Microsoft Office package.
- Ability to make sound judgement and decisions.
