Main duties of the job
You will work closely with our People Partner - Policy & Transformation and play a key role in ensuring DSARs are processed accurately, securely and within statutory timescales. You'll manage a varied workload, reviewing and analysing large volumes of complex documentation, emails and attachments to identify personal data. You'll also identify third-party information and apply appropriate redactions before information is disclosed, seeking expert advice when required.
You'll need excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands and deadlines. Advanced IT skills, including confidence navigating systems such as Excel, Word and Adobe, are essential, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You'll also need to work autonomously, use your initiative and be comfortable focusing for prolonged periods when reviewing detailed information. Knowledge and understanding of data protection and confidentiality is essential.
