Job overview

The post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day data quality tasks within the data quality team. This role will be based in main OPD signing up patients to Mychart as they attend their outpatient appointments. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the EPR patient portal Mychart requests that come in from parents/carers externally.

The post holder will work within the Data quality team to oversee the new EPR Epic and all its data quality functions and will help and assist with education and training to support Data Quality across BWCH.

Main duties of the job

Deals with enquiries, advice and guidance available from the Data Quality team leader/works to defined standard operating procedures, manager and team leader available for reference when required.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Professional qualification at diploma level NVQ 3 or equivalent NHS administration experience

Knowledge and Nature of Experience

Essential

  • Proven knowledge and experience of working with Patient Records & knowledge of an EPR system.
  • Previous NHS experience
  • Clear oral and written communication skills & good inter personal skills.

Professional/ Managerial/ Specialist Knowledge

Essential

  • Be experience in the use of Microsoft office and Excel

Desirable

  • Delivery of Training experience
  • Supervisory experience
