Customer Services Supervisor

Service opening times are Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 7pm and Saturday 9.00 am – 3pm

Working Pattern:- Monday - Friday TBD One Saturday per month 9.00am – 3.00pm We are looking for an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills and a passion for supporting high-quality patient care? We are looking for a motivated and organised Customer Services Supervisor to join the Leicester Sexual Health Service team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role within our Customer Services Team, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of administrative services while helping to deliver an outstanding experience for patients and staff.

The role will oversee the operational day to day tasks of the Customer Services Team, under the support of the Senior Administration Manager.

Supporting the Clinical Lead and Operational Leads to develop and implement modern office systems and processes across the Administration Team and to identify ways of improving efficiency including planning and managing any changes required.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a supervisory role to the Customer Services Team within Leicester Sexual Health Service.
  • To work closely with the Clinical Lead, Senior Management Team and broader admin team to streamline admin systems, ensuring the department runs smartly and smoothly. To work closely with Clinical and Operational Leads to streamline and maintain admin support systems for clinical workloads.

  • To oversee the operational day to day tasks of the Customer Services Team, under the support of the Senior Administration Manager
  • To support the Clinical Lead and Operational Leads to develop and implement modern office systems and processes across the Administration Team and to identify ways of improving efficiency including planning and managing any changes required.
  • To support the Clinical Lead and Operational Leads to develop and maintain standard operating procedures for admin functions & systems.
  • To work to maintain effective waiting times within the standards set for the Service.
  • To assist in the delivery of all performance indicators.

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines

Experience

  • Experience of working in an administration support role including dealing with telephone enquiries in a timely manner
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive/distressing issues and customer service experience

  • Business Administration NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
