Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaging and ambitious Finance Business Partner to join the Financial Management team in a key role.
The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to drive the finance agenda, support efficiency and productivity plans, and support the financial management team in day to day activities
Main duties of the job
The Corporate Finance Business Partner provides business partnering support to designated corporate directorates in all their monthly, annual and ad hoc financial performance and planning activities.
They are responsible for reviewing the month end financial position, as well as for the completion of monthly forecasts and consolidation of a divisional monthly performance report, in consultation with the corporate managers, with the support of the wider corporate finance team and the Head of Corporate Finance.
They will support their designated directorates’ annual financial planning process and undertake costings of service developments and savings plans.
The Corporate Finance Business Partner will support setting objectives and priorities for their area, while ensuring routine monthly reporting and analysis tasks are completed
The Corporate Finance Business Partner, reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, will act as the designated financial management representative at directorate meetings.
Key relationships will need to be formed with senior management, budget holders, Project Management Office, and clinicians in order to support the management of resources. They will work closely with directorates on budget setting, budgetary management, forecasting and financial sustainability plans.
