The Band 6 Registered Professional within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred mental health care to individuals experiencing acute psychiatric crises. This role operates within a multidisciplinary, age-independent service that provides 24/7 support, aiming to assess, treat, and stabilise individuals in the least restrictive environment, primarily within their own homes. The overarching objective is to promote recovery, prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, and facilitate early discharge from inpatient services wherever possible.

The Band 6 Registered Professional in the CRHT is a highly skilled and autonomous practitioner who plays a critical role in delivering urgent mental health care in the community. By combining clinical expertise, leadership, and compassionate care, the practitioner supports individuals through crisis, promotes recovery, and contributes to the overall effectiveness of mental health services. The role requires adaptability, strong decision-making abilities, and a commitment to high standards of care in a complex and fast-paced environment.
