We are seeking an inspirational Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to provide professional and clinical leadership within our Intermediate Care & Community Therapy service in the Newton Abbot locality.
This is a pivotal role within the locality leadership structure, combining strategic influence, hands‑on clinical work and the opportunity to shape community services that truly matter to people’s lives.
You’ll be supported by a strong, approachable locality leadership team and will have access to a Clinical Development Lead, offering guidance, mentorship and support for your ongoing clinical expertise and leadership development. Main duties of the job
As Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, you will:
- Provide professional and clinical leadership for the Physiotherapy team within the Newton Abbot locality
- Be an active member of the locality management team, contributing to service development and strategic planning
- Support, supervise and develop staff, promoting a positive learning culture
- Maintain an advanced clinical caseload within Intermediate Care and Community settings
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care
- Support service improvement, innovation and consistent clinical governance
