Main duties of the job
Lead and actively participate in Biologics nurse-led and multidisciplinary clinics, conducting patient reviews, managing prescriptions and funding processes, and administering intravenous Biologic therapies when required. Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, whether face-to-face, virtual, or telephone-based, while adhering to agreed clinical protocols and professional guidelines.
Provide a strong clinical presence within the service, offering guidance, support, and education to junior team members and the wider MDT. Demonstrate expert knowledge and uphold the highest standards of clinical practice.
Deliver a seamless, high-quality service for patients throughout their entire care journey — from referral and assessment to diagnosis, treatment, and review — making appropriate referrals to other healthcare professionals as necessary. Offer ongoing advice and support to staff, patients, families, and carers.
Serve as a key point of contact and source of support for patients during treatment, follow-up, and discharge.
Work autonomously to organise and manage your own workload and clinical practice, while collaborating with and supporting junior team members. Maintain and promote effective professional and emotional support networks for yourself and colleagues

Essential
- Able to demonstrate evidence- based practice in dermatology
- Experienced in assessing and scoring Disease severity ( e.g PASI,DLQI,EASI,PEST)
Desirable
- Understanding of NICE and BAD guidelines relating to Biologic therapies
- Experienced in managing patients receiving biologic or systemic therapies
Qualifications
Essential
- RN and Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Nurse prescriber

- Competent IT skills including email power point ,excel word
