Could you help develop the skills, confidence and capability of frontline ambulance staff while supporting the future of prehospital care on the Island? As Clinical Education Lead within the Isle of Man Ambulance Service, you'll play a key role in delivering highquality clinical and nonclinical education across the service.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with colleagues, you'll support learning and development activity, helping ensure staff have the knowledge, skills and support they need to provide excellent patient care. You'll deliver training in both classroom and operational settings, provide mentorship and clinical leadership, and contribute to the development of educational programmes, resources and continuing professional development activities. The role also includes supporting operational services, maintaining clinical competence and contributing to service improvement, research and innovation. Working within a small, forwardthinking Ambulance Service, you'll have the opportunity to influence practice, support colleagues at all levels and help shape the development of education and training across the organisation. This role also qualifies for a recruitment incentive of £3,000, payable in the 1st, 13th, and 25th months of employment.

Qualifications
Essential
- Degree Level Education or equivalent experience gained through work.
- Registered Paramedic (HCPC) or Nurse (NMC).
- Full manual driving licence for 3+ years with category C1 entitlement.
- IHCD, L3 CERAD, or other emergency driving qualification recognised by IMAS.
- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or above (e.g. PGCE). If not held, must commit to completing this within 24 months of appointment, and must hold L3 Award in Education and Training (L3 AET) as a minimum at appointment.
- L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (L3 CAVA).
- L4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification. If not held, must commit to completing this within 24 months of appointment.
- Ambulance driving instructor qualification (L4 DERADI). If not held, must commit to completing this within 24 months of appointment.
