We’re looking for Clinical Admin Support who brings organisation, forward thinking, initiative and a can-do attitude to a busy clinical environment. You’ll support Unit Managers with staffing / operational related tasks, help keep on top of sickness monitoring and minute meetings, work alongside the ward team to keep day-to-day operations flowing. Alongside being a supervisor to the unit's ward clerk. If you enjoy being in the centre of the action and making a real difference to how a service runs, we’d love to hear from you.
This is more than an admin role – you’ll be a key part of the team supporting individuals with complex needs, helping to create a positive and safe environment for both patients and staff.

- Provide administrative support to Unit Managers, helping oversee staff / operational related issues such as sickness absence tracking, return-to-work processes, and performance concerns.
- Attend, organise, and minute meetings – ensuring action points are captured, distributed, and followed up.
- Work closely with the Ward Clerk to support the smooth functioning of the unit, helping with administrative workflows, ad hoc tasks, and coordination across teams.
- Undertake other administrative tasks as needed — from data entry and reporting to correspondence, filing, and general unit support.

Experience
Essential
- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access)
- Experience of working in a busy office / customer care environment
Desirable
- Previous supervisor experience
Qualifications
Essential
- Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C)
- QCF Business Administration Level 2
- QCF Customer Service Level 2
Knowledge & Skills
Essential
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and use own initiative
- Excellent communication / customer care skills both written and verbal demonstrating sympathy and compassion
- Ability to deal professionally with enquiries from staff, service users and stakeholders
- Ability to problem solve
- Understand confidentiality and apply the principles in every day working practice
