An opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer to join the Outpatients Department at Lorn & Islands Hospital, Oban.
We are seeking a well‑organised and motivated individual with good communication and administrative skills.
The post holder will provide clerical and reception support to Outpatients, including referral processing, appointment booking, clinic administration, telephone and reception duties, maintaining patient records, data input and general administrative tasks.
The ability to prioritise workload, work accurately and maintain confidentiality is essential.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday and applicants are required to have the following:
- Good general standard of education.
- Minimum of two years’ clerical/administrative experience.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or Health and Care Worker visa.NHS Highland is unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for this post.
