Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, positive, and patient-focused leader to join the Abdominal Medicine and Surgery CSU at Leeds in the role of Business Manager for the Colorectal Service. As one of the largest CSUs within the Trust, Abdominal Medicine and Surgery offers a fast-paced and rewarding environment. We are seeking a Business Manager to join our close-knit team of ambitious and enthusiastic clinicians and managers, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care and drive service excellence. The successful candidate will actively engage with clinical, nursing, and administrative teams, providing visible and effective leadership.

Main duties of the job

This role will play a key part in developing services to meet the evolving needs of our patients, while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. The post holder will be confident in constructively challenging colleagues where appropriate, demonstrating sound judgement and professionalism. A flexible and proactive approach is essential, along with the ability to respond effectively to challenges and resolve problems within a dynamic healthcare environment.
