We are looking for individuals with administrative experience within the healthcare sector to work in the Elective Care Booking Team as a Waiting List Coordinator.

Main duties of the job

The Waiting List Co-ordinators will be working closely with the Team Leader and Elective Care Service Manager to ensure all patients on the waiting list are booked and managed adhering to the Trust Patient Access Policy and Protocol. Patients are booked against the Trusts measurable and reportable key performance targets across all specialties, including Cancer 2 week waits, diagnostics, 18-week RTT and currently 54 weeks and under backlog of patients.

The team are based in our Endoscopy office at the Birmingham Heartlands Hospital site.

The contractual hours are 37.5 hours each week; Monday - Saturday with one fixed non-working day Monday - Friday (the non-non-working day will be confirmed with each successful candidate)

The contractual hours during the week are 10:00 - 18:00 with 30 min lunch break and Saturdays hours are 09:00 - 17:00 with 30 min lunch
