The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative and business support to the departments within the Rehabilitation Services.
To work as part of a team and to carry out administrative duties on a day to day basis. This may include covering essential and appropriate operational duties in the absence of colleagues.
Main duties of the job
To be a key point of contact for the Team and to provide a service where you receive telephone calls and take messages, answering queries, making contact with clients and organisations, using initiative to solve problems within your scope of responsibility and seeking advice where required.
To arrange appointments and send out confirmation and reminder letters as required
To work with colleagues and the wider team to ensure procedures and systems are efficient and effective

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Experience
Essential
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages
- Experience of working in the NHS or public sector
- Experience of co-ordinating diaries
Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English
- NVQ 3 in administration or equivalent experience
- RSA 2 or equivalent experience

- An ability to work well as part of a team
- Shows flexibility and initiative in planning workload of self and the wider admin team and welcomes challenges
