Main duties of the job

The Specialist Corporate, Income & Costing Team leads on several high‑profile areas, including:

  • Trust income management
  • Trust costing and statutory returns
  • External grant‑funded projects
  • Medical Doctor Degree Apprenticeship programme – the only Trust‑run programme of its kind nationally
  • Tendring 100 Apprenticeships – supporting local employment and skills development
  • AI development and research initiatives
  • Outreach programmes: schools, work experience, careers fairs, NextMedic, NextAHP, NextMidwife
  • Employer Provider Apprenticeships – supporting over 600 ESNEFT staff, recently rated “Good” by Ofsted
  • Partnerships with local schools, universities and colleges to attract, train and retain future NHS talent

Experience

Essential

  • Use of computerised systems

Desirable

  • Management accounts experience
  • Awareness of Current NHS Trust financial regime in relation to Financial Management

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to GCSE or A Level (incl GCSE Maths and English) or equivalent

Desirable

  • Studying for a Full Professional Qualification
  • AAT Intermediate level or equivalent experience

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • The Ability to analyse and interpret basic performance and financial information
  • IT skills, particularly with Excel
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a varied range of people and professionals
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
