An exciting opportunity has arisen at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust for an Assistant Management Account Apprentices to join our Financial Management team. We are a driven and motivated team passionate about the development of our finance team. We have professional accreditation with ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA and AAT as well as holding level 3 Future Focused Finance accreditation and offer support for further training and professional development.

We are seeking an ambitious individual who is reliable and flexible and can contribute to the finance team.

The successful candidates will gain skills and experience within the trusts Financial Management Department, whilst studying towards AAT.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in a career in Finance

Main duties of the job

As a Apprentice Assistant Management Accounting Apprentice you will be gaining all the skills and experience from Financial Management while studying for the AAT qualification. Part of the role will be to use a computerised ledger system and Microsoft office packages, this is to provide analysis to department managers and budget holders.

The role is based at Sunderland Royal hospital with hybrid home working arrangements in place and the working hours are Monday to Friday. You will work within a well-established team in a supportive and flexible environment.
