Main duties of the job

Join Emerald Place Clinic as a Workforce Administrator/PA, more than just an admin role. Engage with comprehensive workforce management, ensuring smooth recruitment processes and service continuity. Your role supports administrative tasks for the recruitment team, manages compliance, processes employment changes, and resolves payroll queries. This position requires experience in similar roles, strong organisational, communication and time management skills. In this role, liaise with payroll to dispatch documents, support reception cover, manage HR files, and oversee recruitment and onboarding processes. Additionally, administer induction for new starters, handle employment changes like maternity or paternity leave, and maintain compliance checks. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Secretarial and/or Administration experience
  • 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent
  • Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Awareness and knowledge in following confidentiality and security

Where you will be working:

Location: Emerald Place Clinic, Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Horley, RH6 0BN

Emerald Place Clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18. Young people who are admitted to the unit will have a primary diagnosis of mental illness across a wide range of disorders and complex needs.

These could include mental health conditions such as mood disorders and acute psychosis. Additionally young people may have co-existing additional needs such as neurodevelopmental disorders, including mild learning disabilities or autism. A young person could also be admitted if they have disordered eating.
