We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Nurse with excellent leadership skills and relevant experience to join our team of Ward Managers within the Neurosciences and Major Trauma Clinical Group
Ward NSSU is a 16 bedded elective neurosurgical and spinal ward, part of the Neuorsciences and Major Trauma Clinical Group falling withing the neurosurgery and spines CSU. You will also be asked to oversee and manage the neurosurgery clinic and SNACU (spinal and neurosurgery ambulatory care unit)
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse with shared values to join our Ward Manager team. This is a unique exciting opportunity to join a team with vision, drive and ambition. You will have extensive post registration experience and ideally nursing management experience. Previous experience working in the field of Neurosciences is desirable but not essential.
A passion for high quality care and continually improving patient and family experience is essential as are excellent interpersonal skills. We view leadership as key to our success; therefore you should be able to demonstrate this throughout the recruitment process.
You must be able to motivate staff to achieve high standards, and possess excellent communication skills to ensure that the aims of the organisation are achieved.
