Main duties of the job

As a Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health) at a Barchester care home, you are expected to ensure residents receive quality care by planning, managing, and monitoring the delivery of nursing and mental health care. You will also be a Registered Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration, experience in providing care for older people and those with dementia, and a track record of well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, recent clinical practices, and the ability to act as a clinical mentor is also required.
