Working hours for this role are scheduled between 08:00 and 18:00, across a seven-day service (Monday to Sunday).
We are seeking enthusiastic, skilled and compassionate Sonographers to join our expanding Diagnostic Imaging Service at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As one of the UK's leading specialist cancer centres, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality ultrasound services for patients undergoing cancer diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
You'll join a friendly, supportive and highly experienced multidisciplinary team where professional development, innovation and patient-centred care are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to supporting career progression, advanced practice and continuous learning within a specialist oncology environment.
Main duties of the job
As an autonomous practitioner in a CDC and cancer centre, you will develop and deliver a high quality specialist ultrasound service alongside our radiologists and physicists. You will be able to show evidence of participating in peer-review audit and have an excellent knowledge of current legislation and guidelines. You will ensure sound clinical governance of the service, including audit to align with our QSI accreditation.
