Job overview

To deliver and maintain a professional administrative service to the TYA Cancer services and to all its patients, relatives and colleagues. To provide an element of support work in co-ordinating and delivering internal / external events and activities.

Main duties of the job

Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the TYA team, including managing appointments, clinic bookings, referrals, and patient communications. Maintain accurate records and databases, prepare clinic materials, and ensure diagnostics and documentation are available in advance of appointments. Liaise with patients, clinical staff, and external services to support care delivery, while monitoring inboxes and prioritising queries.  Follow procedures, maintain data quality, and contribute to service improvement. Support operational tasks, environment upkeep, events, and promotional activities, alongside general administrative responsibilities.
