We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Car Parking Clerical Officer  to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional services across our two main hospitals. As a key player in ensuring the highest standards of service is provide to our patients, visitors and staff, you will support the Carparking Supervisor and  Security Assurance Manager in  resources, and daily operations within our Resilience Team.

We are seeking a candidate with excellent organisational and communication skills, they will be responsible for keeping the staff parking system fully up to date.

Updating of the car parking data base as and when we have changes to the system and content i.e. car changes as well as staff turn over details.

Additionally, the post holder will support the Security Car Parking Management team in relation to all duties under their remit. This will include a number of appropriate actions relating to the smooth operations of Security and Parking on our sites. This position will offer an excellent opportunity for an individual who is seeking a role within an organisation where no two days are the same.

Main duties of the job

Maintain a professional approach at all times in line with the Trust values.

Maintain professional and courteous working relationships with staff and respect the equality and diversity of each and every person he/she comes into contact within the course of his/her business

Uphold the privacy and dignity of the client group and respect equality at all times.

Facilitate communication within the team around any changes to admin systems and processes as well as with key internal and external stakeholders

Liaise with all levels of staff in a professional and respectful manner to maintain effective communication to maintain client flow and meet relevant targets.

Assist with reports to ensure that archived records, both paper and electronic, are regularly reviewed and confidentially destroyed at the appropriate time.

Assist with the management of training documentation and update records to ensure all data is relevant and up to date.

Assist and provided any reports that need to be produced on an ad-Hoc and monthly basis.

Participate in and undertake audits as required by Line manager.

Ensure all communications internal and external contribute to a positive, caring and helpful image of Lancashire teaching Hospitals Trusts and are of the highest possible standard.

Undertake training as appropriate in line with the role and its associated developments.

Process and manage complaints in relation to carparking including PCNs.

Person specification

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Administrative experience
  • Experience of working in a changing environment
  • Computer Literate, experienced in data entry and use of e-mail
  • •Understanding of Information Governance, Data Quality and its requirements

Desirable

  • Experience in the use of electronic PAS
  • Experienced in Customer Care
  • Confidentiality Awareness
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications

Qualifications and Education

Essential

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Desirable

  • Educated to English Language and Maths GCSE level or equivalent
