- The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the performance and business of the Theatre services across UHD. The post holder will work as a key member of the service’s leadership teams working with clinical colleagues to develop and deliver high quality care for patients.
Main duties of the job
- Part of your role will be to provide support to the administrative teams and support the Matrons to embed the quality governance and assurance within the Directorate. The post holder will promote a proactive approach. You are also a Senior Manager within the Theatre and SSD Directorate Management Team and as such will work to meet the objectives of both the Directorate and Care Group while supporting the Trust’s overall vision, values and strategy.

Supporting the service theatre improvement plan to achieve local and national targets set out. Performance lead for the service, working closely with the senior leadership team, Forge robust working relationships with the MDT across multiple specialities, effective communications, resilient and reliable. Oversight and management of a team and representing directorate as the need arises. Astute and professional behaviour, with good analytical and judgemental skills. Ability to interrogate data to ensure action and improvements are detailed with support for celebrations.
