Part Time - 30 hours
To ensure the smooth running of all theatre sessions across hospital sites through effective list planning, scheduling and utilisation of the theatre system (currently ORMIS), you will carry out your duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation of the work within Theatre.
It is essential that you should exercise initiative commensurate with the role and it is vital that confidentiality be maintained at all times.

Main duties of the job
- Update the theatre system to accurately reflect all changes or additions to theatre sessions.
- Make any real time amendments to theatre session as and when requested.
- Printing off theatre lists and call cards for each theatre the night before and deliver copies to Bed Management Department.
- Provide and collate the theatre lists and theatres schedules for the weekly list planning meeting.
- Attend List Planning meeting to ensure all lists fully up to date and notes circulated for action.
- Full utilisation of the roll locks management on the theatre system to unlock any staff on the system. Requesting smartcards for all theatre and unlocking of smartcards in real time.
- Liaise with I.T., theatre staff and operational theatre manager regarding any system failures and making sure all problems are logged. On notification from I.T. test the system prior to informing staff to re-use.
