
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Secretary to join the Older People and Frailty Team, based at Witham Court, Lincoln. The service provides assessment and treatment for people presenting with memory difficulties and supports older adults experiencing mental health difficulties across the Grantham and Sleaford area.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the clinical team and Team Co‑ordinator, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient‑centred care and effective communication with partner organisations.
You will have excellent communication skills, be highly competent in Microsoft Office 365, and be able to manage your own workload while working effectively under pressure within a busy mental health service. You should be a strong team player with a flexible and organised approach.
Experience in a clinical environment is desirable, and knowledge of RiO would be advantageous.

To provide a full and efficient secretarial service to the team, including dealing with incoming mail and the provision of minute-taking.
To respond to queries and incoming calls and emails daily, which may be non-routine and can sometimes involve information of emotional and distressing circumstances, ensuring prompt attention in a professional and sensitive manner and seeking further information where required.
To ensure patient and staff confidentiality is maintained, adhere to Trust and national policy.
To manage one's own workload, seeking advice when required and performing routine office procedures, including typing of reports, letters and other documents; opening and distributing correspondence; dealing with outgoing post, photocopying, filing and faxing in accordance with current trust procedures. Minuting meetings and completing minutes and supervisions of band 2 admin staff.
Using word processing skills to provide typing support to the team including reports, letters, memorandums, minutes, and rotas
Clinical systems and Datix and updating these systems in a timely and accurate manner where required.
To prepare and process documentation in respect of the electronic ordering, receipting and payment of stationery and goods in accordance with Standing Financial Instructions.
To maintain healthcare records within the area of responsibility, including the accurate scanning of documents in accordance with the Trust Records Management Policy
