The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our expanding team. Barnsley CAMHS is situated within New Street Health Centre and are currently on a journey of rapid improvement.

Main duties of the job

The position of team secretary is an essential role within any team and service. Successful candidates will be required to input referrals onto the system, format and type letters, book and re-arrange appointments, minute meetings and take telephone calls. A good telephone manner and typing skills are essential alongside an eye for detail. You will need a friendly and personable personality as well as a patient and empathetic approach.

Job responsibilities

We are a specialist NHS Foundation Trust that provides community, mental health and learning disability services for the people of Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. We also provide low and medium secure services and are the lead for the west Yorkshire secure provider collaborative.
