We have an interesting opportunity for someone who is keen to work in a dynamic, developing team for Rheumatology in North Cumbria.  We are a countywide service and have bases in Whitehaven and Carlisle for the right person.  This role will be fully supported by our medical secretaries to allow the successful candidate to develop their skill set.  Previous experience would be useful but we can support the right candidate so please don't let that put you off.

Main duties of the job

The main duties for this role are detailed in the job description so please read this carefully.  This role sits within an administration team of medical secretaries, team secretaries and clerk typists.  The team supports all the clinical staff in the service, ensuring timely communication with patients, relatives, other services in NCIC & partner organisations.  It also acts the hub of the service supporting clinicians in their daily work, maintaining records, spreadsheets and any other documents as required by the team.
